Artist/shoe maker Chris Francis debuts his creative shoes with a museum exhibition/artist in residence at the Craft and Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles. This short film explores his creativity in making shoes, using his background in art and carpentry, revealing the cross roads of his creative ambitions- artist or shoe designer?

Virginia Lee Hunter is an award winning photo-journalist who transition to filmmaking beginning with her first documentary CARNY in 2006, a collaboration with Canadian filmmaker Alison Murray. CARNY was inspired by Hunter’s photo book, CARNY: Americana on the Midway published by Umbrage.
Hunter has worked on a number of documentaries, Fambul Tok, The Source, and Folk.
Tumbling from the Mountain of Truth; the art of Anselm Spring is Hunter’s first solo film.
