Inspired by true events, Whitesands tells the story of a young runaway who arrives in a remote, coastal town motel, where the eccentric purveyor watches the clientele from a secret attic.

Robert Frantzeskos is an emerging filmmaker and producer, based in Melbourne, Australia. After completing a degree in philosophy, he trained in theatre and film at the Victorian College of the Arts and with 16th Street Acting Studios, respectively. His first directorial short, Whitesands, is the graduating production of the masters program at the VCA. He is currently in pre-production for a forthcoming short drama.
